Well it's been a pretty busy time in Whisky Works HQ this month. We're not long back from recording 3 tracks with Romesh at Long Wave Studios in Cardiff, which are sounding pretty beefy to us, so we hope you enjoy the results. A full track and a couple of clips from the sessions have been put up on the Myspace (see link below) so you can peruse them at your leisure!

Also, thanks to those of you who made it to the recent show at the 13th Note. The weather might have been some of the shitest we have seen here in sunny Glasgow, but we all managed to dry off under the toilet hand-dryers and see a little bit of music. Thanks also to Cut Glass Accent, Hey Vampires and Bronto Skylift for some excellent tunez.

We also have a show coming up in Pivo Pivo this Sunday, which will be our last in 2008 so please join us if you can!

It's been a while.

Firstly, a big thank you to everyone who organised and came to see us at Hard Working Class Heroes Festival in Dublin. Maybe there should be a Scottish Invasion every year, although I'm not sure if we can drink that much again for a while. But seriously, we were royally smashed for most of it and had a fucking ace time. Thank you all.

Secondly, we're doing a few local shows over the coming months for those of you who couldn't afford to travel to Dublin with us, details of which are available on the "Live" page. There should be another handful confirmed soon so stay tuned.

Thirdly, we've just confirmed the beginnings of the recording of our new EP, so we will be of to Long Wave Studios in Cardiff at the end of October to start the process. It's gonna be belter, but you'll hear that for yourselves.
